What is nanotechnology?
Nanotechnology is a field of applied science, focusing on the control of matter on a scale smaller than one micrometer (commonly known as a micron), which is one millionth of a meter or one tenth the size of a droplet of mist or fog.
Using patent-pending nanotechnology in Nanovive, we encapsulate nourishing ingredients for the skin in very small delivery vessels called nanospheres, which penetrate to deeper levels of the skin.
Why is Nanovive’s nanotechnology beneficial for my skin?
Nanovive Skin Revival System all-natural nanotechnology is not only good for your skin, but safe as well. Backed by more than 14 years of research and development, from technology originally designed to help burn victims.
Wrinkles and lines are formed as we age because collagen and elastin supplies are depleted; and the lipid barrier is broken down. Nanotechnology allows nutrients to penetrate far beneath the surface of the skin—rather than simply remaining on the surface. At this deep level—known as the stratum granulosom—moisturizing and healing ingredients form a partnership with the skin, jumpstarting ceramide repair and lipid production, and helping skin’s ability to repair itself. The result Softer, visibly younger-looking skin that’s been moisturized from deep within.
What is the history behind the development of nanotechnology for the skin?
These products were adapted over the course of 14 years, from technology originally designed for burn patients, helping skin’s ability to repair itself.
If I use Nanovive products alone, will they have the same effect?
The results are most visible when the entire Nanovive Skin Revival System is used. The Glycolic Exfoliating Serum dissolves the dry surface skin cells and prepares skin for the moisturizing, clarifying and nourishing effects of the Cuticle Rescue, Penetrating Lotion and Intense Skin Treatment.
How do I decide between the Nanovive Penetrating Lotion and Nanovive Intense Skin Treatment?
The Nanovive Penetrating Lotion contains time-released emollients and antioxidants known to help heal and firm skin. It has a fast-drying, elegant finish. Nanovive Intense Skin Treatment is a richer cream--also formulated with time-released emollient--to be particularly effective on rough spots, dry patches and calluses, or for those who wash hands often or work with their hands. The Intense Skin Treatment may be used as an alternative to the lotion—or in addition to the lotion for extra dry skin for ideal results.
Is the Nanovive Skin Revival System patented?
Yes, Nanovive products containing nanotechnology are patent-pending. In fact, Entity Beauty is the first in the beauty industry to use this technology and combine it with premium quality formulations. It’s no wonder that many high-end brand name suppliers are trying to do the same. But we are the first. And that not only elevates the quality and uniqueness of our products, it enables you to provide “a first”, and a true innovation to your clients.
Can I use the Nanovive Skin Revival System on my face?
Nanovive products have only been tested for use on the body, and usage directions are only available for use on the body. We do not guarantee results of Nanovive when used on the face.
What is the quality of the ingredients in Nanovive?
Nanovive is manufactured according to pharmaceutical standards.
How do traditional moisturizes work?
Traditional moisturizers rely on two primary mechanisms to help moisturize: humectants and moisture barriers. Humectants, such as glycerin, promote the retention of moisture by absorbing water from the air. Barriers, such as mineral oil and silicones, help prevent moisture loss and seal the skin, but do not technically moisturize. By combining humectants and moisture barriers, the top layer of your skin can receive a temporary and superficial moisturized effect.
Nanovive goes beyond traditional moisturizers to deliver moisture deep within the skin. The patented nanotechnology in Nanovive means that moisture doesn’t just go on the skin but into the skin.
Are any of the ingredients in Nanovive products designed to work at the surface of the skin?
Certain ingredients in Nanovive products are designed to create benefits at the surface level of the skin. For example, glycolic acid in Glycolic Exfoliating Serum, and pineapple extract (enzyme) in Cuticle Repair have exfoliating benefits to the skin’s surface. In addition, ingredients such as mineral oil and paraffin stay on the surface of the skin to help prevent moisture loss.
What are parabens?
Parabens are typically used as preservatives. There are many controversial views on the safety of parabens. Nanovive products do not contain parabens.
Do Nanovive products contain parabens or phelerenes?
No, Nanovive products do not contain parabens or phelerenes.
How big are Nanovive nanospheres?
Nanospheres in Nanovive measure less than 1/50th the size of a human skin cell – thus they are small enough to penetrate deeply into the skin.
How far do Nanovive nanospheres travel in my skin?
The all-natural Nanovive nanospheres travel to the lower levels of the stratum corneum, where they break open. The nourishing contents of the nanospheres then penetrate into the stratum spinosum and stratum granulosum, where living skin cells are found.
What are the Nanovive nanospheres made out of?
Nanovive nanospheres are all natural, made from soy-based lecithin. Each tiny nanosphere--which measures 1/50th the size of a human skin cell--contains peptide, antioxidant and plant extract formulations. The microscopic size of Nanovive’s nanospheres means they can deliver nourishment far beneath the skin’s surface. Here, potent nutrients are released, jumpstarting ceramide repair, stimulating collagen and lipid production, destroying free radicals and helping the skin heal and renew itself—naturally. In fact, unlike other skin lotions which sit on the skin, Nanovive delivers nearly 80% of the nourishment into the skin to create more dramatic results.
Can I use Nanovive if I am allergic to soy products?
The soy in Nanovive is processed and made into lecithin. We are unaware of any allergic reactions due to soy. However, we suggest if you are concerned about allergic reactions, you should try Nanovive products containing lecithin in a small area first.
What is lecithin and how does the skin cell use the lecithin contained in the Nanovive nanospheres?
The membrane surrounding each skin cell is composed of phospholipids which are primarily lecithin – the same ingredient contained in Nanovive nanospheres. Lecithin plays a vital role in promoting the health of the skin cell. Nanotechnology in Nanovive creates a more penetrating and effective mechanism to deliver this vital nutrient. As the nanosphere is broken down, the surrounding skin cells absorb the lecithin in the nanosphere.
Why do certain Nanovive products contain alcohol?
The alcohol contained in some of the Nanovive products is part of Nanovive's patent-pending nanotechnology, and used to help form the nanosphere. The alcohol binds with the lecithin, and as a result does not create the drying effect that alcohol on its own can have.
What nutrients are contained within Nanovive all-natural nanospheres?
As the Nanovive all-natural nanospheres break down, they release the moisture and nutrients contained within them. Ingredients contained in the nanospheres are specifically designed to create softer, moisturized, visibly younger-looking skin. Hand-selected and tested over time, these ingredients vary by Nanovive product, but include: water, lecithin, aloe, cucumber extract, rose hips extract, sambucus extract, and palmitoyl oligopeptides (an amino acid blend that stimulates collagen production, helps destroy free radicals and is known to reverse the signs of wrinkles and aging).
How are Nanovive benefits time-released?
The all-natural nanospheres break down and are gradually absorbed by the skin, creating a natural time-released effect.
How do Nanovive products “moisturize from within”?
As the Nanovive all-natural nanospheres break down, they release the moisture and nutrients contained within them. Thus the moisture is actually delivered below the surface levels of the skin, moisturizing not superficially, but from within.
Will I see immediate results from using Nanovive?
You will see immediate, visible improvement in the texture of your skin when you use the complete Nanovive skin revival system. Continuous use as directed over the next two to three weeks will result in further improvement – softer, moisturized, visibly younger-looking skin.
What are the "best before" dates on Nanovive products?
We recommend using opened Nanovive products within 12 months.

What is recommended usage of Nanovive Glycolic Exfoliating Serum, and what problems and symptoms might I see if I use it incorrectly?
We recommend you cover the entire skin surface thoroughly, focusing on rough, dry or calloused areas. Avoid areas where skin may be sensitive, such as the tops of feet, which are already smooth. We do not recommend use after microderm abrasion, or other services that removes surface skin. Leave on skin for additional 8 minutes. Do not use heat treatments. Rinse with water thoroughly after use, and pat dry. Use up to 2-3 times weekly. If you experience skin redness and irritation, discontinue use.
How frequently can I safely use the Nanovive Glycolic Exfoliating Serum?
We recommend use of Nanovive Glycolic Exfoliating Serum up to two to three times weekly.
Why is there a sun exposure warning on Nanovive Glycolic Exfoliating Serum?
Nanovive Glycolic Exfoliating Serum contains an alpha hydrozy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Is the Nanovive Booster so concentrated that I shouldn't use it alone?
You can use Nanovive Booster alone, but it is designed to work best mixed into other products since it is less creamy and unscented.
How much would you recommend adding to the price of a service using the Nanovive Booster?
Depending on your service you could add 5% or more to your service price. For example, add $1 for a Nanovive Boost treatment on a $20 manicure. Use the opportunity to introduce your client to nanotechnology in skincare, which allows nutrients to penetrate far beneath the surface of the skin, rather than simply remaining on the surface.
