While still a student Tara was inspired by ads and an article in nails magazine about Entity. It made perfect sense to her to use products that were created by nail artists. She applied herself and quickly accepted opportunities to be on the Tomcat Competition Team and also become an Educator for Entity after only being licensed for a short time. Since 2005, Tara has achieved six top-10 competition awards. As a firm believer in never having too much education, she now helps other nail artists and especially students to realize their dreams and potentials.The crucial variable of turning knowledge into value is creativity, and that is what we as nail artists do…we create, and that is a prospect worth pursuing.

With over 10 years experience, Dawn is a booth renter at a local salon where
she specializes in pink and white and colored acrylic. Dawn has experience teaching
in a local beauty school and enjoys mentoring other students and nail technicians.
In 2001, she won her first nail competition. Dawn recently became a Certified
Master Pedicurist by the International Pedicurist Association. My clients
know me as “the nail geek” because I am always off to a seminar, eager to learn
more and pass it on. I am very excited to help other nail technicians improve
their skill and can’t wait to compete again.

Heather Hall is an award winning nail artist who is extremely passionate about her career. You may recognize her face from her experience educating at almost every trade show nationwide. A licensed nail professional for over 10 years she has grown to love every aspect of the nail industry. Heather’s nails and expertise have been featured in both NAILS and Nailpro magazines, and she also created nail enhancements for a national advertisement. She is a competitor at heart and with her best finish at an impressive third place, she can’t wait to win more. I have been taught by the best, Tom Bachik, Lee-Anne Smith and Lorena Marquez, and I love to educate others to help take their skills to the next level.

Gracie King grew up on the smells of monomer, hairspray and permanents - her
mother and sister are both working cosmetologists. Gracie is one of the very
first in Texas to hold a specialty instructor license, and she currently works
with Vogue College of Cosmetology. She is bilingual, teaching in both English
and Spanish. Working with Entity allows her to bring her two passions together:
education and art. I have built my career driven by the power of my favorite
quote by Tyron Edwards: “People never improve unless they look to some standard

Leah has been in the beauty industry for over 10 years, working with some of
the best artists in the industry. With a passion for competition, Leah developed
herself through continued education. As a member of Entity’s competition team,
she has placed in the top ten several times in recent competitions and her nail
art creations have been shown in Nailpro magazine. Leah grew a spa’s nail business
to $100,000 in a few short years and enjoys teaching other professionals practical
skills such as how to “up-sell” clients and design menus, product inventory
spread sheets, training manuals, marketing and advertising. She also enjoys
teaching pink and white sculptured nails, tip application with overlay, manicures
and pedicures, and nail art. My struggle early in my career was that I had
no industry support. I am now dedicated to helping others within the salon to
