Last month we created a little piece of history. Over the past year we encouraged nail artists to join Advantage and chase their dreams of educating, competing or even joining our management teams. Not only did we encourage this, we actually accomplished this goal!

In October we invited twenty-three of our Advantage members to become part of our education team as Entity Advantage Educators. Women who are passionate go-getters eager to grow this company, grow this industry and grow themselves. That’s what we trained them to do! Our new team of Entity Advantage Educators will assist our fantastic regional sales team as they educate nail artists across the country about the Advantage Member Reward Plan. Advantage Educators will participate in Entity product presentations at Advantage meetings, and conduct Advantage Training events.

Tom Bachik, Alisha Rimando and I lead the comprehensive Advantage Educator training on Harbor Island in San Diego California. Sounds fun doesn't it? It was fun, but it was also a lot of hard work, determination and drive that made this training event a career-changing and even life-changing week for many involved. We focused on pushing everyone's nail skills to the next level. We also instructed our new Advantage Educators on how to demonstrate professionalism, facilitate a classroom and improve their presentation skills.

We'll never forget the fun involved while growing ourselves and trying new things. The training was amazing for me. I was so proud of these twenty-three individuals. They will be instrumental in helping all our members with continuing education. Our new members will be inspired by who they are and where they themselves could be in the future. Just follow in these very big footsteps and the sky is the limit!

At Entity Beauty we believe education not only drives successful businesses, but is the key to boosting our industry and gaining industry recognition. When the Advantage program began there were only four trainers leading the way for an amazing revolution for our industry. Alisha Rimando, Tom Holcomb, Tom Bachik and I hit the ground running with exciting news, and people listened.

Since April, more than 600 members have joined this revolution with exclusive benefits just for nail artists. This momentum kept us very busy and very excited about what this could mean for nail artists everywhere. In this big industry of ours I've found that the one thing that was lacking is opportunity for advancement and corporate positions for nail artists who want to move out from behind the desk. This was one of the important reasons that I decided to join this revolution.

As our family grows we will need many more Educators to help us spread the word about the Advantage Member Reward Plan. We encourage you to take advantage of all the tools available to you as an artist and a business professional. We want you to be a member of a world-class company that believes in us as professionals. “Life is not a 100 yard dash, it’s a marathon.” Building a company, your business or any worthwhile endeavor is no different. Good things take time. And because of that, it is important to envision the “big picture”.

Let’s stop and think. It’s only been seven months since Entity Beauty started rolling out Advantage Membership Rewards Plan, and only two months since it was officially launched nationwide. For some members, this has already been a life changing experience. For others it’s been a slow start. Either way, it’s still very early in the game and never too late to get involved.

We have come along way in molding the Advantage Rewards Plan into a plethora of membership advantages and benefits as well as announcing some very exciting “Only Entity Could Do It” opportunities and incentives. Most of our members are taking advantage of product discounts, Advantage training and the motivation that comes from being part of a team. We have had many members win Fast Start awards, receive product credits and join our Advantage Educator and Competition teams. On October 1st we kicked off our fourth quarter contest, an all-expense paid Cruise Celebration. Our expanding product line and member benefits continue to grow, but this is only the beginning of a very long journey of assisting you, our members, and making Entity Beauty “The Premiere” company to the nail artist and professional.

What is the big picture?

First of all, Entity Beauty is committed to the big picture of helping you get the things you want out of your career. Our future plans are aggressive and long-term. “Entity Beauty is more that just a line of nail care products, it’s a Revolution!” Second, the sky is the limit, there are no limitations put upon you, your opportunities or your income. No one person or thing can prevent you from getting what you want out of your life and career.

Third, ask yourself, where do I want to be in five years? What does it look and feel like to earn my potential or own a salon or to become a world-class competitor or educator? Fourth, make a commitment to yourself and set a plan of action in place. Start with the end in mind, and then work back by putting benchmarks along the way to track your accomplishments. Set daily, monthly, and annual goals for yourself. You will never arrive at a destination you can’t see. And finally, the “Big Picture” is being successful at what ever in life you choose to do, and the definition of success is the realization of a worthwhile goal.
