One of the keys to success is staying focused on those things that you can control. Research has shown that what you focus on most is what will happen. If you’re like most people what you will find after reflecting on all the things you worry about is that 95% of the things you worry about never happen.

Now is the time to focus on those things you can control and stop worrying about all the other things. If you want your business to grow, focus only on those things that will grow your business. If you need to increase your income, focus on those activities that will accomplish this and stop worrying about all the rest.

Focus is the key!

Our focus at Entity Beauty has resulted in our membership surpassing the 2,000 mark. We are focused on building an opportunity for you that we believe will help make a difference in your life, delivering the highest quality products, education and financial incentives to help you generate multiple streams of income.

By taking advantage of the many benefits we offer and introducing others to the Advantage membership you can begin to see the power of multiplication. Over the long term, sponsoring others and staying active yourself, we believe you will see the rewards that will be worth your time and effort now.

With all the new products introduced this month it is only a matter of time that these products will generate a tremendous amount of sales revenue. If you are actively building your team you will share in our growth. I encourage you to actively work this part of your opportunity so that over the long term it will work for you.

Focus on what you can control and stop worrying about those things you can’t. Life is too short to worry about the 95% of things that won’t ever happen. Focus on what you know you can control and together we will see the type of growth and success we both envision.

Thank you for being on our team, we appreciate your trust and confidence.

by Michelle Williams, South Western Regional Sales Vice-President

Michelle WilliamsWhether you’re a veteran nail artist or fresh out of school, there is no time like the present to prepare a plan for the future of your career.

Would it surprise you to know that most people spend more time planning their family vacation each year then they spend planning their financial future? Business coach Jim Rohn explains it this way, "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are that you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they may have planned for you? Not much." I don’t know about you, but I don’t like the thought of someone else determining my career potential or earnings!

To develop your own career plan, you must first identify what you’d like to accomplish then take the steps necessary to get there. Where do you want to take your career? Would you like to be a world champion competitor, a celebrity nail artist, international educator? What about your income? Are you satisfied with what you currently earn? How much would you like to make each month or year?

Once you’ve identified what you’d like to accomplish, the next step is to find a vehicle to help you reach your goal. The exciting news is that Entity Beauty offers two unique opportunities which allow you to take control of your career and begin building a financial future beyond the chair. The first is our career path education program and the second is our commission plan.

The Entity Advanced Acrylic Certification program is the first step in developing your career in education, competition, or sales management. By participating in this program, you will be exposed to the core application principles that the Entity Artistic Team has used to become the most accomplished group of nail artists in the history of the nail industry. Nothing is held back in this program. You will gain access to the same techniques and application secrets that Tom Holcomb has used to achieve more competition wins that any other nail artist in history and that Tom Bachik has used to become a ‘nail artist of the stars’. More information and upcoming class dates can be found on our website.

Now let’s get down to the brass tacks - the money!

Entity Beauty is the only company in the nail industry that shares their success with the nail artist! You can earn a residual income by simply helping us grow. Each time you share the Entity Beauty products and opportunity with another nail artist you will earn product credits and commission from their future purchases as long as you are both active members.

For some, this extra income may offer a way to get their entire salon product for free. For others, it will surpass their earnings in the salon! And one of the most exciting benefits of this program is that it can provide an income that will pay you for many years after you retire from the chair.

There are two facts that nail artists face that can easily be overcome with this program. First, the nail industry doesn’t often provide a pension plan or retirement account for us. Second, there is a lifespan to our time behind the chair. The Entity Beauty commission plan is the only one in the professional nail industry that allows you to take control of your financial future.

If you would be interested in learning how to make an extra $100 - $1,000 per month or more, you won’t want to miss our new Team Builder Leadership Conferences instructed by our Vice President of Sales, Stu Ludlow. Register today!

Member stories: Profiles in Success

Over 60 Advantage members are Fast Start Award winners in April and May! Many are on their way to winning the first Leadership Awards. This month we profile Entity Advantage members that are modeling leadership and excellence.

Members helping members... this has become a motto for the Entity Advantage plan. For the grand opening of a new member salon, Entity’s Deena Rogers and Dana Ferguson provided free shiner and Nanovive treatments. Owner Helena Gadison says “Deena and Dana were simply awesome. They never stopped... they provided the most amazing service I've ever seen. I want them to be the ones to train our nail techs.”

Entity’s Lynn Lammers is currently ranked the #1 competitor on NailPro Cup individual competitors list! With two more competitions this fall, Lynn is on her way to a Nail Pro Cup championship. Lynn shares some inspiration to members who may be considering competition.

What got you started competing? I was attending a beauty show just out of school, and I was encouraged by an industry veteran to compete based on the nails I did on myself. I had started sculpting early, practicing with my Mom’s products.

How have competitions helped your day-to-day salon success? I own my salon, and competition has pushed me to continue to improve my skills. My client’s love being able to tell their friends about my competition success. I have been able to raise my prices, and client referrals create as much work as I want.

Would you encourage others to compete? Absolutely, no matter what your talent level. You will only improve, and your client’s will see your dedication to your art.

Also at the Nailpro competition at the Las Vegas Hair and Nail Conference, Entity’s Lynn Lammers placed 3rd in Veteran Salon Success, and Lynn, Amy Deloux, and Tara Cote placed 4th in the Tip and Overlay relay, and Tara Cote placed 4th in French Twist.

What's new with Entity Beauty sculpting powders?

By popular demand, we are introducing two new pinker sculpting powders! Pinker Pink is a translucent medium tone pink. Pinkest Pink is our most vibrant translucent pink tone - deeper than Pinker Pink and Pink sculpting powders. Like all our Entity Powders, they have been formulated to work optimally with Entity Signature and Success Sculpting Liquids. During introduction, these powders are being offered in a two-pack set of 20g jars.

And turn up your client’s satisfaction with Entity’s award-winning Nudité corrective powders! Nudité is specifically designed to hide flaws and create beautiful, natural-looking nails on clients with short or damaged nail beds, without the trouble of mixing. Entity’s exclusive Nudité corrective powders are available in opaque Warm Pink, Cool Pink, Cool White and Warm White. Those of you that are already familiar with Nudité powders may have noticed that we changed the name of the Nudité Moon White to Nudité Cool White. We also changed the name of the Nudité Natural White to Nudité Warm White. Not to worry, they are the same great colors they were before, only the names have changed!

We have lots of innovative and exciting products launching over the next few months! Continue to check entitybeauty.com for updates. And you can now call us anytime at 866-288-4600 to place an order or register a new Advantage member.

We look forward to assisting you!
